Book-o-mat outdoor
This self-service device allows to collect books previously ordered in the library and optionally return of books. The patron places an order through the library system. When the book is prepared for borrowing, the staff places it in the book-o-mat and the order is marked in the library system as ready for collection. The library system shall notify the patron of the possibility to collect a copy. The patron logs onto the device using a library card (which may be based on a barcode or RFID technology). The device automatically opens the locker with ordered book. A library card or electronic ID is required to open the locker. The device is equipped with a lockable lockers, a touch screen and a library card reader. To be placed outside the building under the canopy.

The main module can be extended with the additional module consisting of 24 lockers. To 10 additional modules can be added if there is enough space for such amount.
Requirements for the ordering party:
- Purchasing a license for the SIP2 protocol from the library system provider.
- Supplying 230 V power to the location of the book-o-mat.
- Supplying a LAN connection.
- Preparing a hole through a wall for 4 cables (diameter 30 mm) outside in the place where the book-o-matt will be stand.

Requirements for the ordering party:
purchasing a license for the for book-o-mat module service (SIP2) at the library system supplier and supplying LAN and 230 V power in the place where the book-o-mat will stand.
