Library depository

In many libraries it is possible to return borrowed book collections around the clock. This is provided by a library depository located outside the building or in a separate room having free access.

The device accepts returned items and places them in a library cart with a movable floor. The library staff empties the cart once it is full, and enters the returned items into the library system. The depository may be made available to readers around the clock, which significantly speeds up the book return process as well as making them available sooner to new users.

It is made of materials resistant to environmental conditions and effectively protects the stored contents. At the same time, it is very easy to maintain and operate.
